so much great things have been going down, im truly blessed and happy to be where im at- and excited about where im going. Im blessed to have such a lovely friend in my life who is truly becoming something dear to me each day- which is nice. Because great things aren't built over night. recently, ive been on the ultimate grind. Doing hair, selling phones, working- studying...and painting! Everything is so crazy- yet i love it! This Sunday YazzyMOMO got me and held me captive! We balled out lol, I GOT A MEAN YSL BELT- that is currently being redesigned by yours truly. dirty girl? (laughing) Kinda racy and spicy aye? You know i love to grab you in from the get go- enjoy some what sexy photos of me. ha- ha. Topic of interest at 5:05AM "DIRTY GIRL!" Why must men love such sexy women? And where is the line between sexy lady and whoring sally? It never really crossed my mind until i took such sleazy photos, this straight hair is lovely. I cant even remember the last time i felt hair on my back! Why must men claim they want such a natural beauty and than as soon as hoe happy Jackie with her hair extensions and fake nails walk by- there caught right in? I don't get it! Where is the line drawn and why must men fall into these European standards of beauty? Now i don't mind a little makeup and some straight hair, what i do mind is seeing women really live like this day in and day out. Why isn't there natural beauty cherished and praised? why must black men feel as if light skin is better vs darker skin tones? Why must they feel short hair is a No No.

Ive noticed when i started two Junes ago to grow my hair back, men loved the short curls- but as soon as it got into the ugly stage.. where its not long enough to pony tail or short enough to throw gel in..i noticed men weren't really into me. The fact that it was a little Afro actually made me ice cold to the normal young black man. I never knew what it felt like to not have men press me daily until i started growing my hair back, without any colors or styles. I couldn't believe men were so shallow. As the months progressed of course and a year passed- the eyes instantly came right back. Being more aware of the type of men that kept away, i refuse to even give certain types the time of day. You didn't want me when my hair looked like a dirty tennis ball- why now? loll yeah! Nothing feels better than growing your hair back after a hard lost, you really find comfort in your hair and respect it, as you see nothing into something. I call my Afro the amazing unbreakable mane. It just grows and grows- i love it!

Since Ive turned 21, Ive decided to tone my chubby ways. I mean its cute and all to feel nice and squishy as people use to describe! But growing into woman hood, its not good! I'm only 4'11 i was 120 pounds, i know down south that's great! But i didn't feel so great! Now I'm 105 pounds and i feel extra motivated to get up and go run down the street! I do a lot of dancing in my mirror and stretching, i love this yoga stuff! I can bend all the way backwards and touch the ground! My spin is getting much much straighter! I've been drinking a lot of water. I skip out on road food at times and cook, i never use salt and i always have my share of veggies! I give you the work of art!!

I never said i was perfect, my bipolar ways and big chinky eyes get me by in life! Each year that passes my family and close friends see that I'm simply an artist, and there is nobody out there like me. So you must put up and shut up! Its Sunday morning and I'm cold as hell- I'm outside by the pool- doing my daily, writing my blog. Interesting enough i went to church last night, topic of reasoning was the 10 brides. 5 were foolish and 5 were wise. Funny enough as the lady, i mean Queen went on- she like Jah planned for 10 brides. 5 were foolish and 5 were wise. It had me truly questioning my relationship with my man, and my boyfriend. (my man= God.) In order to have and keep a happy relationship i must look at is as serving my God - preparing myself to be a perfect bride. Which is funny, because lately those are the vibes Ive been feeling. and like everyone knows, I'm a free soul and i tend to whisk myself in and out of great relationships with beautiful men, is it not a matter of being anything less than Empress. It has everything to do with my soul and my art, certain people come and go in and out of your life for different reasoning. Since Ive been 16 Ive had a certain friend that grew into all types of different statue in my life. Being that Im now 21, just like my age he has aged and grew with me. It started so simple and innocent just like my art, little drawings and tiny scribbles of verses and poems, to huge paintings and short stories. This love is God given and i shall not let my carefree ways take me from this, i must remain calm and patient in one place. My dreams are to be a world famous artist, artist meaning. I express my feeling threw my work, let it be paints, drawings and my life story I'm still working on. Touching people and giving back, i have all the intentions in the world to make this a easy place for people who are like me and who aren't like me. I must grow into one now with him, and i don't doubt this love anymore.. even though at times i feel i must run and hide. Here i stand tall and except what God wants from me, not me being what i want. I just know when i do this, it is okay to take him with me. Part natural hair in 6 braids no rubber bands, no pins. After being wrapped with silk scarf for two days. Part hair inch by inch and blow dry with bristle brush. Remember to constantly blow dry and spin brush fast. Your hair will not become straight if you aren't pulling it tight enough from the roots down. Part and repeat until done.

When finished wrap hair without pins and unwrap the next day!

Please forgive me! Ive been away far to long- i needed the space and time to collect ones thoughts. Good news- Ive walked over all the stones in the ocean- now I'm just floating! Mentally Ive been off track- i finally caught myself back, the art work is wonderful. And I'm being more of a woman handling certain situations to the best of my ability. Ive finally gotten over old love- and grew better love! good love- and like karma what goes around comes around, i must sit and take in all the words i rather not hear- not to listen and follow, simply because of pass bad horrible decisions.

My art work is at an all time high- i cant really post anything until i have it all copy written and all that good stuff. It feels great to be back and happy! Ive tried to put people down and network but there simply stuck into this fish bowl mentally. So now i understand why people act BRAND NEW. It has nothing to to do with how I'm dressed and how i look- I'm still the same crazy artist girl everyone misunderstood. =]

DOUBLE STANDARDS ii think?!? =/

Last night as my boyfriend enjoyed his double other life in his zone- photo shopping and aiming; i was sucked into the Tyra Banks show as she showed a couple who have been together for a year. They said they have been fighting over cups and plates left on the night stand- mostly unclean kitchen utensils. It made me laugh as this little dude kept going on about his girlfriend- whom to me seems like she works so much she just passes out after she eats. And that is so understandable in Ohmys world. Going on- Tyra tells them they each have 24 hours of being single, and pick a date out of four random people. Of course he picks the chick who comes off easy- and she picks the nice tall (move over high yellows dark meat is in) dark sexy young man. Needless to say- the boyfriend tries his best to take advantage of his free day, total word vomit out his mouth and nasty touchy little hands. His girlfriend on the other hand handles herself well- keeping everything PG-13, she even breaks away for a few seconds and calls her boyfriend twice. You guessed it he didn't answer! After they played back the highlights of each date- she ends up in tears and he gets jealous as he watches this sexy ass man treat his "bitch" like a lady. I couldn't stop laughing when he completely turned into another person before her ready to cry saying sorry- one mouth full of bullshit. And yes she gives right back in.

I think we as woman always fall back into it. Ive heard from a very wise guy its in our nature to love as woman. And when a woman has been hurt enough by a man- she will do things to hurt him but always go back. Like the pain wont last forever. I'm not telling anyone to be dumb def and blind- I'm just stating real facts.

It is in a mans nature to look- maybe stray. It is in a woman's nature to love.

As i sat there thinking after watching the Tyra show- all i heard was " Tyra got some nice ass titties, shes always hiding them!" I though to myself i know just how she feels- the person your use to seeing might not be the same person when he walks away. But sad to say- they always come right back. Notice i never mentioned a woman not doing these things- but as a young lady turns into a woman she matures faster. And she will see that inflicting pain to her man and another man isn't worth it. Why light a match that you don't need? Men have a fear of getting older- every man is scared of age. I feel as if some men stray just to feel young- see if they still have it. Look at Jay and B- look how old he is- he just now got married. Ive gotten all that night life out of me, now I'm just aiming to become a nurse and i sometimes think about buying him boxers and socks. After I looked at Tyra's titties as the show was ending i uttered "yeah yo- they are big!"

I couldn't picture living somewhere- where there is a disease killing everyone. And hardly anyone is even aware of it! And i personally know how it feels to lose a parent, so this year i will donate half of all my proceeds from my art to AMREF. It helps fight AIDS and spreads awareness to Africans- and helps children have a better tomorrow. Let us do something about the problem instead of talking about it- i refuse to sit back anymore and let Innocent people die, and children grow without there parents. We all can make a difference- so this is my start.

Yes. It is as simple as cursing somebody the hell out! Yet I've gotten a new book from the library and it made me ponder. What if one was to just love- instead of hate? Instead of getting negative and causing chain reactions of actions- of horrible ish? Really looking into your soul and going about the proper way to deal with certain people. People come good, bad, rude, wonderful, shitty- and you got people who are just nosey. Wondering- why the hell you are so happy after all the curb balls life has thrown at your face! Yes, I speak from my heart- and maybe even yours. People my friend- will always try and find ways to confine you- or just take your glow, your happiness. Basically wanting to throw a stick into your bike tire! MIAMI ART BASEL COMING IN DEC!

Someone told me that the art Basel was coming- I completely forgot what December brings! It's like the sneaker pimp for the canvas artist! Every one's art will be featured and up for sale. Art buyers will be dishing out big money for master pieces- and plenty of parties! Parties for the lovers of life. =]

Monday- GIVING THANKS.

It doesn't take a turkey for me to give thanks. This morning I woke up and I felt SICK- my throat, my eyes- everything was hurting. I drank some therma-flue and couldn't work today.. I washed all my bed sheets, opened my windows- than went to lay in the sun. While i was in the sun soaking up energy and GOODNESS- i reflected on everything going on around me. Life is strange- Love is so real. I've never been the type to be self''fish with love- I give it! And the older i get the more i notice these doors opening for me, on every level. I was told last night i fell asleep on the phone- I've never done that before. Like seriously- talk to someone so much that i just pass out! The feelings is so middle school- so innocent. Which made me think back on- when i was searching for LOVE; I had a completely different FACE- a completely different vibe, i was a completely different person. Now that I've been walking correctly- my whole persona changed- the energy i give off, the look in my eyes. I'm a new person- and i give thanks for that. Not Just on the day before black Friday.

MIND GAP by Thee OHmy

This piece has plenty meaning to me, It took like 7 weeks to make it. I had a psychological evaluation- and I couldn't believe all the foolishness it said. Personally i know there is nothing wrong with me- but that's just what they want you to think. When you see the bigger picture they have to drag you down- to make you think..your CRAZY. When really and truly I'm normal. The cross in the middle shows that GOD is first, and on the side of that says- BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL, and fear no man. A maze showing that the higher hands- what to keep US ALL in loops. A face in the middle that...is crying tears of LOVE.. in a crazy hateful word. That is how i feel sometimes- It hurts so bad to love, love those who treat you bad- and make you feel like nothing. Still showing a side of you that sets you apart from being a girl- a teenager, a female- which makes me a woman.

MY WOMAN MY WOMAN.

OH what joy- greetings beautiful people!!! Welcome to my BLOG!!!!!! Much has been going threw my mind- mostly what ifs, and WHAT THE HELL!! Yes- what the hell... what the hell is going on with our world? Why are we hurting it and killing it- why are my people so blinded to see the bigger picture. THAT LOVE CURES ALL! Why is it that young woman are so quick to just go out and get fucked rather than going to the library- hm enough whys. Blame the music, blame the men- blame the fact that most young black woman grow up hating there own natural self image. Due to the "MAN." Well- not the man the MASSES! of this "EUROPEAN STYLED STANDARDS OF BEAUTY!" you see it everyday- woman with perms, woman with colored contacts, woman who hide there talents- and just sit back and say- hey...I WANNA GET FUCKED- woman who wear weave- 24-7.. who under go plastic surgery...i can go on forever but i wont....It is disgusting to see my beautiful black woman go threw these issues- and not only that. My mixed sisters feel the "heat".. having to fit in on one side, inside of just LOVING BOTH SIDES. Woman feel the need to conform- to be apart of a certain race- when really and truly there is no such thing as race. We are all of the same!!! if you cannot understand what I'm saying....

Please know this- you are beautiful, you are strong. You have the power to be anything you want to be- only you know your out come with your life. It is all up to you and what you think, and what you put out- and what you say. So if we/you STAY POSITIVE AND LOVING- AND HAPPY WITH LIFE. Everything will always come out good- and fall into place. We are only here to simply give this thing called life one shoot- than will live forever with his Greatness. Follow the light- fear no man. And love- love is needed in these dark times. It is all so simple but most are just SO caught up they cant see. Take five minutes out of everyday and just sit still- pray and give thanks.. think about everything..and give thanks to God that you are here.. even write a list each morning of what you are happy for. Hopefully it isn't a list of material things- because material things aren't important at all.

Love is important- it cannot be bought, stolen or able to die.

please remember all of this and give it thought.

As for MEN- AND MUSIC; In order to be treated like a "whore" or just be mistreated at all. It is all due to how you carry yourself- if you say foul words and go out late at night, you will have a man who does the same. If you don't respect your body- and wear clothing that shows all, or hugs to tight.. you will call that into your life. A man who is simply there for your body- Please understand that being a woman- one must dress like a woman and carry herself as a woman. What you DO- is what you call to YOU. If you listen to dumb ass rap music- about shaking your ass, or chop shop-zoom or whatever.. that is just the type of man you will have, and even friends at that. Surround your self with what you want in your life- and you will have it. Yes- it is all SO simple.
